Tides Restaurant & Pub

Tides 1Nahant is a small resort community located on a peninsula fourteen miles north of Boston, surrounded by the Atlantic on three sides. Nestled on a beach in picturesque Nahant, Tides Restaurant and Pub offers guests a diverse, nautical-inspired menu. It’s the perfect location to enjoy freshly caught seafood, a wide array of cocktails, and a breathtaking sunset from the restaurant’s deck.

Tides is a casual environment, with a friendly New England themed interior that brings to mind a neighborhood pub. With a young, energetic staff, the pace is brisk and service excellent. Hungry diners starting with the PEI mussels on garlic bread enjoy fresh, buttery seafood at its best. The unique Cherry Cola Glazed Wings douse on the bone chicken in a sweet barbeque sauce with notes of cherry and ginger. Guests in the mood for something fresh will loved the generous salad portions and house made Honey Cider Dressing on the Cranberry Walnut Salad.

The Honey Soy Glazed Salmon was an Asian-inspired preparation that was perfectly crisped and flavorful. The Antipasto specialty pizza was light and burst with the flavors of olives, salami and black pepper. Tides is locally known for their selection of creative pizzas. Guests can also enjoy a range of casual fare, from burgers to seafood platters to home-style chicken dinners. Top off dinner with one of the pub’s extensive selection of locally brewed craft beers or maritime cocktails. The Deep Blue Sea and Tides Lemonade are sweet, tangy, and pack a punch.

For diners seeking vegetarian and gluten-free options, Tides offers a variety of salads, pasta dishes, and a veggie burger. Grilled meats and seafood come served with many different vegetables. Dishes can be modified, so speak to your server. A kid’s menu geared at diners under twelve provides options for younger, picky eaters.

Visitors to Nahant have a few options for docking. The nearby Seaport Landing Marina accommodates up to 165 vessels in permanent, seasonal, and transient slips. Transient slips are available for individual boaters and clubs. Boaters are advised to call in advance by telephone 781-592-5821 or to verify availability. The Nahant Town Harbor also has limited moorings available. Interested boaters are advised to contact the Harbormaster in advance by email at to determine availability and make arrangements. Nahant and surrounding areas are located on a rocky coast; having the latest charts and following safety information is essential.
