july42013-1139Cruise on down the St. Johns River with your boat to the Jacksonville Landing to enjoy a fun-filled day of entertainment, shopping and dining. With a multitude of places to eat, you can opt to grab fast food, or decide to sit down at one of the full service restaurants.

Plenty of full service restaurants, along with quicker food options fill the landing, making choosing a meal or two an activity.

If you choose to stay overnight, the landing has two nightclubs for boaters who would like to take their sea legs to the dance floor. Visit the Voodoo Ultra Lounge for some upbeat hip hop music or Mavericks for your two-stepping country music.

There are tons of stores to shop in. Shops for souvenirs, jewelry, and clothes fill the area.

Check their website for events that are taking place during the days you plan to visit there. The landing has over 350 events each year. The center courtyard offers plenty of live music every weekend ranging from classic rock, oldies, jazz, and the top 40.

Free boat docking for the public is on a first-come, first-served basis. Maximum stay is 72 hours; stacking may occur during special events. No docking allowed behind the stage. Call City of Jacksonville dockmaster at 904-630-0839 for more information.

Jacksonville Landing is located at 2 West Independent Drive, Jacksonville. Mall hours for Friday and Saturday are 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, and Sunday from noon to 5:30 pm. For more information call 904-353-1188 or visit jacksonvillelanding.com.
