You remember the song that goes, “I wear my sunglasses at night”?  You might feel the need for shades as you watch all of the wonderfully decorated and lighted boats glide past, beginning at 6:00 pm. There are two locations to view the parade:  Sandspit Park by the Davis Park Ferry terminal 10 on Brightwood Street in Patchogue, or the FINS Watch Hill Ferry Terminal on West Avenue.  Viewing is free, as is the water taxi.

This year’s parade theme is “A Tropical Christmas!” Boaters wishing to join in the parade pay an entry fee of $35.00, which includes dockage Saturday night through Sunday on the Patchogue River. Following the theme is optional. Voting for the best decorated boats will take place on Saturday, November 22, between 5:00 and 8:00 pm, and the public is invited to take in the pre-parade festivities.
