The 25th Cedar Beach Blues Music & Arts Festival, Long Island’s oldest and largest blues festival, gets its groove on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18. Attendees will enjoy great music, delicious food, and activities for all ages at the event’s new location on the grounds of the Long Island Maritime Museum in West Sayville.

Scheduled performers include The Pam Betti Band, A Band Called Sam, Kerry Kearney Band, The Sunset Rebels, Jim Kolman, The Welldiggers, Dave Christian, The Joe Rock Allstars, Mary Lamont Band, Southbound, The Tobacco Roadies, Shecky and the Twangtones, and Toby Walker.

There is a beer tent to quench your thirst and lots of food vendors to visit when your stomach starts singing louder than the performers. In addition, there are arts and crafts vendors along with other fun activities.

Festival hours are 11:00 am to 7:00 pm each day.  There is a $5.00 admission fee; kids under the age of 12 are free.

It’s easy to reach the festival by boat. While the Long Island Maritime Museum has no docks, it does offer transient tie up space on its east bulkhead on a first-come, first-served basis (call 631-854-4974 to check on availability).
